you all had a nice summer. Over the summer I read the third and final book of The
Kane Chronicles, The Serpent's Shadow. Here is my summary:
Carter
and Sadie Kane still have to try to destroy Apophis who is threatening to turn
the world into eternal darkness. The kids have to master action filled
adventures. They discover a box which contains King Tut’s shadow. They think
this could be just what they need. Carter and Sadie believe an ancient spell could
turn the serpent’s own shadow into a weapon. The book is a nice, but actually open
end to the trilogy. I enjoyed the action and the humor of the book.
