The Serpent's Shadow

Hope you all had a nice summer. Over the summer I read the third and final book of The Kane Chronicles, The Serpent's Shadow. Here is my summary:

Carter and Sadie Kane still have to try to destroy Apophis who is threatening to turn the world into eternal darkness. The kids have to master action filled adventures. They discover a box which contains King Tut’s shadow. They think this could be just what they need. Carter and Sadie believe an ancient spell could turn the serpent’s own shadow into a weapon. The book is a nice, but actually open end to the trilogy. I enjoyed the action and the humor of the book.

The Quillian Games is book 7 of the Pendragon series. This time Bobby Pendragon travels to the territory of Quillan, which is ruled by a strange company called BLOK. Everyone on this territory participates in the The Quillan Games, a variety of sport and game show style games. The problem is that whoever loses the game pays with their lives.  Bobby realizes that in order to get to the rulers of Quillian, he has to participate in the games himself. Get ready for an amazingly dangerous and strange story full of weird creatures like evil clowns and deadly spiders…

The Rivers of Zadaa / Pendragon Series Book 6

Hi guys! Today I will be reviewing the book The Rivers of Zadaa (Pendragon, Book 6). In this book Bobby Pendragon goes after the evil Saint Dane to the territory of Zadaa where Loor is from. There is a terrible drought in Zadaa and the two enemy tribes who live there (the Batu and the Rokador) are about to start a war with each other.  Bobby and Loor have to try to make peace and they have to try to stop Saint Dane from destroying Zadaa. The Rivers of Zadaa is a great book, full of dangerous adventures and emotional decisions. You can earn 18 A.R. points for reading this book. Liar & Spy

Hi Everyone!
Today I will be reviewing Liar & Spy by Rebecca Stead. The book is worth 5 A.R. points and has 180 pages. This book is about 11 year old Georges who lives in Brooklyn. Georges and his parents move from a house to a small apartment building where mysterious things seem to happen. The book is like a funny mystery, I really liked it a lot, it is a great book.

In this third book of the The Inheritance Cycle series,  Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have to make many difficult decision. After just escaping from a dangerous situation, Eragon promised to help his cousin Roran to rescue his girlfriend Katrina from some evil creatures who held her captive. But this is only the beginning and Eragon and his dragon Saphira have to master many more exiting adventures. I give this book 3 stars and you can earn 45 A.R. points for reading it!

Eldest!

Hi everyone! Here is my first blog book review. I will add "Eldest" to my website soon. Eldest is the second book of “The Inheritance Cycle” series by Christopher Paolini and it follows the book Eragon.

In this book Eragon and Saphira have to travel to the land of the elves called Ellesmera. Here Eragon will be trained to become a real Dragon Rider. Eragon’s cousin Roran wants  to marry Katrina but has to fight against the evil King Galbatorix. Eragon gets put in great danger. The book is filled with strange and fantastic characters and adventures. I give the book 3 stars and think it is definitely worth reading. You can earn 36 A.R. points for reading it.
